Stop Press

Following Government guidelines and the advice of the Baptist Union on safeguarding our church fellowship, we are closing down the Church and adjoining hall premises with immediate effect during these challenging times. All associated clubs and groups who use the premises are shutting down for the time being but leaders will be kept informed of future developments.

We look forward to meeting up again but in the meantime, take care, keep safe and healthy.

4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!  5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.  6Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4

14For this reason I kneel before the Father,  15from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.  16I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,  17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,  18may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,  19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Ephesians 3

Here at Great Mongeham Community Church we believe that the Christian faith leads to transformation of individuals, communities and culture. The Bible is an essential part of our faith because through it God reveals who He is and how He works.

Most of all it is through the Bible we find out about Jesus - His mission, His message and His miracles and how He changes lives today. The heart of Jesus – the message is that God loves us as we are but loves us too much to leave us that way.

Our aim on Sunday mornings is to meet with and hear from God so worship and prayer are important parts of our service. We believe understanding the Bible is crucial and so we have a strong emphasis on teaching the Bible in a way that helps us to better know God and to live in the light of its truth.

So whether you're new to the area, a visitor, or simply wondering what life's all about, we'd love to get to know you. Do come along on a Sunday, or get in touch! We meet every Sunday at 10.30am and would love to welcome you with the hand of friendship.
